Kerala PSC Degree in Modern Medicine or equivalent qualification.Recruitment 494/2023

GENERAL RECRUITMENT – STATEWIDE  CATEGORY NO . 494/2023

Applications are invited Online only from qualified candidates for appointment in the under mentioned post in Kerala Government Service.Before applying for the post the candidates should register as per the One Time Registration through the official website of Kerala Public Service Commission.Candidates who have already registered can apply throuh their profile.

The Ranked List of selected candidates published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the vacancies if any reported to the Commission during the period of currency of the list.

Note:- As per G.O (P)No.61/2012/SWD dated 17.10.2012,3% vacancies of the above post are reserved for differently abled candidates with Locomotor disability / Cerebral Palsy, Blindness and Low Vision.

6. Age limit : 21-41, Only candidates born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2002 (bothdates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Other backward Communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation.(For

Conditions of the Gazette notification.)
7. Qualifications

1. Degree in Modern Medicine or equivalent qualification. (Equivalent qualification means those qualification recognised as equivalent by the Medical Council of India.)
2 .Valid Registration with the Travancore – Cochin Medical Council. Note (a) : Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable.
Note (b) : Those who are appointed in the post should serve for 4 (Four) years during the first ten
years of their service (including the period of training) anywhere in India or any Foreign
country under Defence Service or services connected with Defence. Those who have completed 45 years of age will be exempted from the above compulsory medical service.
Note (c) : In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification,the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to the qualification specified for the post, in the Special Rules or qualifications found acceptable by the Commission in cases where acceptance of equivalent qualifications is provided for in the Rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification
prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission.

8 Mode of submitting Application:-

(a) Candidates must register as per ‘ONE TIME REGISTRATION’ with the Official Website of
Kerala Public Service Commission www.keralapsc.gov.in before applying for the post.
Candidates who have registered can apply by logging in to their profile using their User-ID and password. Candidates must click on the ‘Apply Now’ button of the respective posts in the Notification Link to apply for the post. The photograph uploaded should be one taken after 31.12.2013. Those candidates who have created new profile from 01.01.2023 onwards should upload their photograph taken within six months. Name of the candidate and the date of photograph taken should be printed legibly at the bottom portion of the Photograph. The photograph once uploaded meeting all requirements shall be valid for 10 years from the date of uploading. There is no change in other instructions regarding the uploading of photographs. No application fee is required. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Before the final submission of the application on the profile candidates must ensure correctness of the information in their profile. They must quote the User-ID for further communication with the Commission. Application submitted is provisional and cannot be deleted or altered after submission. Candidates are advised to keep a printout or soft copy of the online application for future reference. Candidates can take the print out of the application by clicking on the link `My applications’ in their profile. All correspondence with the Commission, regarding the application should be accompanied with the print out of the application. The application will be summarily rejected if non-compliance with the notification is found in due course of processing. Original Documents to prove qualification, experience, age, community etc. have to be produced as and when called for. The profile correction made by the candidates themselves or through the office of the KPSC on request after the last date fixed for the receipt of applications will not be reflected in the application. Such correction will come into effect only on the date on which
correction have been made.

(b) If a Written/OMR/Online Test is conducted as part of this selection, candidates shall submit a confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration profile. Such candidates alone can generate and download the Admission Tickets prior to 15 days of Test. The applications of candidates who do not submit confirmation within the stipulated period, will be rejected absolutely. The periods regarding the submission of confirmation and the availability of Admission Tickets will be published in the Examination Calendar itself. Information in this regard will be given to the candidates in their respective profiles and in the mobile phone number registered in it.

(c) Candidates who have AADHAAR card should add AADHAAR Card as I.D Proof in their
profile.

9 Special Instructions to candidates

(a) In the case of difference in Caste/Community claimed in the application and that entered in SSLC book, the candidate shall produce a Gazette Notification in this regard, along with Non Creamy Layer Certificate/Community Certificate at the time of certificate verification.

(b) Candidates are required to acquaint themselves with the instructions given in the notification as Part II, General Conditions before submitting application for the post. Applications which are not submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions laid down in the General Conditions are liable to be rejected.

(c) Appropriate disciplinary action as per Rule 22 of the Kerala Public Service Commission Rules of Procedure shall be initiated against those candidates who submit applications with bogus claims of qualification regarding education, experience etc. and are liable to be disqualified for being considered for a particular post or debarment from applying to the Commission either permanently or for any period or the invalidation of their answer scripts or products in a written/practical test or the initiation of criminal or other proceedings against them or their removal or dismissal from office or the ordering of any other disciplinary action against them if they have already been appointed, or any one or more of the above.

PSC REGISTRATION IN KERALA

PSC Registration

The government of Kerala introduced Kerala PSC (Public Service Commission), an online platform, to inform job seekers about the latest jobs released by the government. On the Kerala PSC portal, the eligible candidates can get information on the latest government jobs and apply for them. The head office of the Kerala PSC is situated in the State Capital, i.e., Thulasi Hills, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram.

The PSC registration is necessary for all the people who want to apply for Kerala PSC recruitment. The candidates will get job notifications on their registered mobile number after registering on the Kerala PSC portal.

The Kerala PSC portal publishes notifications inviting applications from job seekers for selection to various posts and conducts interviews and written and practical tests. It also publishes a ranked list and a shortlist based on candidates’ performance for various posts. It also contains details of advice for candidates for observing the rules of reservation when vacancies are reported.

 

PSC Registration Requirements

The following things are required for registering on the Kerala PSC portal and obtaining login access:

Scanned Photograph

The latest photograph of the applicant in digital form must have the below specifications:

Maximum photo size – 30Kb

Image dimension – 150w x 200h pixel

Image type – JPG

Please note that the applicant’s name and the date of photo taken must be scripted (in two lines) in black color against a white rectangular background at the bottom of the photograph.

Signature Image

The applicants should have the scanned copy of the signature on good quality white paper with black/blue ink. The specifications of the scanned copy of the signature are as follows:

Maximum size – 30Kb

Image dimension – 150w * 100h pixel

Image type – JPG

Identity Proof

The applicant should have an identity proof document. Any of the following documents can be submitted for identity proof for Kerala PSC portal registration:

Aadhaar card

Account number of any nationalized bank

Driving license

Voter ID

PAN card

Passport

Email ID and Mobile Number

The applicant’s email ID and mobile number are necessary for registering on the PSC portal. A mobile number is required to verify OTP while signing up to the Kerala PSC portal. The exam and job alerts will also be sent to this mobile number.

PSC Register

The people wishing to apply for any post notified by the government from 2012 onwards should register on the Kerala PSC portal. The registration to the portal is a one-time registration, after which the applicant can log in using the user ID and password created while registering on the portal. PSC Register Online

Below is the process of Kerala PSC registration:

Visit the official Kerala Public Service Commission website.

Click on the ‘One Time Registration Login’ option. It will redirect to the OTR portal.

Click on the ‘Sign Up’ option.

The ‘New Registration’ form will open.

Enter the details such as personal details, User ID and password and tick the declaration.

Click on the ‘Register’ button.

Upload the latest scanned photograph and scanned signature in specified size and format.

The registration will be complete on the Kerala PSC portal.

Kerala PSC Profile Update

After registering on the Kerala PSC portal, the applicants should update their profile before applying for a job. They can apply for a post with a specific qualification only after updating their profile. The process to login and update the profile is as follows:

Visit the official Kerala Public Service Commission website.

Click on the ‘One Time Registration Login’ option. It will redirect to the OTR portal.

Enter the ‘User ID’ and ‘Password’ created at the time of registration. Enter the ‘Access Code’ and click on the ‘Log In’ button.

Click on the ‘My Profile’ option under the ‘User Details’ heading.

Click on the ‘Experience’ option under the ‘My profile’ heading and add the experience details.

Click on the ‘Employment’ option under the ‘My profile’ heading and add the employment details.

Click on the ‘Language’ option under the ‘My profile’ heading and add the known languages.

Click on the ‘Weightage and Preferences’ option under the ‘My profile’ heading and update the preferences.

The profile will be updated.

Kerala PSC Online Application Process

The applicants should log in to the Kerala PSC to apply for a job or post. The following is the process to apply for a job on the Kerala PSC portal:

Visit the official Kerala Public Service Commission website.

Click on the ‘One Time Registration Login’ option. It will redirect to the OTR portal.

Enter the ‘User ID’ and ‘Password’ created at the time of registration. Enter the ‘Access Code’ and click on the ‘Log In’ button.

Click on the ‘Notifications’ option.

The list of active notifications will be displayed.

Click on a respective notification to browse through all available posts.

Click on the ‘Check Eligibility’ button. The ‘Not Applicable’ option will be shown for the posts for which the applicant is not eligible as per the profile details.

After viewing the eligibility requirements, click on the ‘Apply Now’ button.

Upload the documents and the latest photograph as per the required specifications.

Take a printout of the submitted application by clicking on the ‘Registration Card’ link under the ‘User Details’ heading.

The respective authorities can ask to provide additional documents to prove age, qualification, community, experience, etc.

The applicant will receive an SMS notification from the Kerala PSC confirming the application for the post.

When the applicant knows the category code of a post, they can apply for the post directly by entering the category code and clicking on the ‘Quick Apply’ button.
