SIXTH NCA NOTIFICATION

Applications are invited online by ONE TIME REGISTRATION Scheme from qualified Scheduled Tribe candidates for selection to the under mentioned post in Kerala Government Service.

Note : The above vacancy is now in existence. The Ranked list published as per this notification will be valid until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked to the above community but remains unfilled due to the paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked list published on 07.12.2009 for the post. This is the sixth NCA notification for the post owing to non availability of qualified candidates belonging to the above community as per the first NCA Notification (Gazette date 31.12.2010, Category No. 491/2010) Second NCA Notification (Gazette date. 28.12.2011, Category No.461/2011) Third NCA Notification (Gazette date. 30.04.2013, Category No. 108/2013) Fourth NCA Notification (Gazette date: 12.08.2014, Category No. 361/2014)& Fifth NCA Notification (Gazette date: 29.12.2015, Category No. 563/2015)

5. Method of appointment : Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging

to the reservation groups mentioned in this notification. But applications of SC candidates will be considered in the absence of ‘ST’ candidates.

Note:­ Applications of candidates belonging to communities other than that mentioned in this notification will be summarily rejected and individual rejection memo will not be sent to them.

6. Age Limit : 22 ­ 45. Only candidates born between
02.01.1971 and 01.01.1994 (both dates

included) are eligible to apply including the relaxation as per para 2 of the General Conditions except para 2(i))

7 Qualifications
1. For Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe Candidates Masters Degree in the subject concerned with atleast 50% marks or its equivalent and good academic record .

2. Must have passed a Comprehensive Test in the subject concerned specifically conducted for the purpose by UGC or any agency duly constituted by the state government in this behalf. When qualifications are being equal, preference shall be given to those candidates who

possess adequate knowledge in Malayalam.

Note: (i) Candidates who have obtained Ph.D Degree in the subject concerned are exempted from passing the NET examination. (G.O.(P)No.86/07/H.Edn dated 19.06.2007)

(ii) For recruitment to various posts under these rules, Degrees awarded by the Universities recognized by UGC alone shall be considered.

(iii) KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable.

8 Mode of submitting Applications:­ a)

Candidates must register as per ‘ONE TIME REGISTRATION’ with the official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission www.keralapsc.gov.in before applying for the post. Candidates who have registered can apply by logging on to their profile using their User­ ID and password. Candidates must click on the ‘Apply Now’ button of the respective post in the Notification Link to apply for the post. The Photograph uploaded should be taken after 31/12/2010. Name of the candidate and the date of photograph taken should be printed legibly at the bottom portion. The photograph once uploaded meeting all requirements shall be valid for 10 years from the date of uploading. There is no change in other instructions regarding the uploading of photographs. No application fee is required. Candidates shall take a printout of the application by clicking the link Registration Card in their profile. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Before the final submission of the application on the profile, candidates must ensure correctness of the information in their profile. They must quote the User­ID for further communication with the Commission. Application submitted is provisional and cannot be deleted or altered after submission. The application will be summarily rejected if noncompliance with the notification is found in due course of processing. Documents to prove qualification, age, community etc in original have to be produced as and when called for.

b) Candidates who have AADHAAR card should add AADHAAR card as I.D. Proof in their profile.
9a) Last Date of receipt of applications: 01.02.2017 Wednesday up to
12.00 midnight

b) If a Written/OMR Test is conducted as part of this selection, Admission Ticket for eligible candidates will be made available in their Profile for One Time Registration and the date of downloading the same will be

included in the Examination Calendar. Candidates can download Admission Ticket for 15 days from this date. Candidates who have downloaded the Admission Ticket will alone be permitted to attend the examination.
